Digicel TCI continues to extend its retail footprint with the opening of a brand new state of the art retail store in Bottle Creek on North Caicos.

The modern, technologically savvy retail store opened June 8 to much anticipation and excitement from the North and Middle Caicos communities.

Students and teachers from the three primary schools and one high school that serves both islands were in attendance, along with the District Commissioner Dotis Arthur and community business representatives.

As an innovative industry leader, Digicel spared no costs in ensuring that the new retail store which will service both North and Middle Caicos came with all the amenities of the flagship store located on the population centre of Providenciales.

Digicel CEO E. Jay Saunders explained that the investment made in the infrastructural development of the new store exceeds $100,000 and is a statement to the community as well as the investment community that the slow economic time can only be remedied by businesses spending money in our communities.

Digicel TCI Head of Marketing Ava-Dayne Fulford explained that the new store was built with serving the community in mind.

“The Digicel Internet Wi-Fi facility is provided free of charge in our store to serve the need of residents but especially students,” Fulford said. “They now have a place where they can access the Internet to help with assignments and research at school. We know how important it is in our modern society to have the Internet at your disposal. Now the residents of North and Middle Caicos have that!”

The ribbon to the new store was cut by Saunders and North Caicos resident, former educator and stalwart Gwendolyn Williams. The new Digicel store opened fully stocked with the latest handsets and devices for consumers who want nothing but the best.
